ben·e·fac·tion   -noun   [BEN-uh-fak-shuhn]

1. the act of conferring a benefit.

Sure, it's not a word you hear every day. But it is a great description of what we do: consult upon and deliberate about benefits. Our marketing and design guru insisted that if we use that name that we always use the tagline "benefits + satisfaction" since benefaction is not exactly a household word. So of course we do. But we really like the name because of its true meaning.

Our goal is to provide benefits, but we want that to mean more than just insurance services for groups and individuals. We don't pretend to be a non-profit organization and we don't consider ourselves benefactors in the common sense, but benefaction is a serious word and we take it seriously. We refer people to free or low-cost services whenever we can. We consult with individuals to get them through a difficult situation. We provide senior coverage consultation. These services are provided at no charge to the recipients.

We also pledge to donate a portion of our profits to charitable causes. See our 4th Quarter newlsetter to see the organizations to whom we've made charitable contributions this year.

Benefaction is a California corporation. Our State Department of Insurance license number is 0F37578.
